What is a mandala?

Mandala (Sanskrit) is a symmetric, circular structure. It represents wholeness and all aspects of life.
Mandalas can be found in nature, in the cosmos, in animal-made patterns, in flowers and more. It is found with variations in many cultures worldwide.

Why do Mandalas appeal so much?
Mandala represents beauty and balance. It reminds us of nature, of our unity and wholeness. This is why we resonate and harmonize with it.
It is also a wonderful tool for meditation. Staring into the center of a mandala calms down the mind and the thoughts.
